ATTENTION DEBIT CARD CUSTOMERS

A NEW DEBIT CARD FRAUD ALERT SYSTEM WILL BE IN EFFECT 4/11/2023

IFSB is excited to announce a Debit Card Fraud Alert System for our Debit card customers.  If a debit transaction is denied due to possible fraud, you will receive a text on the phone number the bank has on file within 30 seconds of the denial.  The text message will ask you to verify the transaction.

§  If you respond by texting “YES” that signifies that the transaction is in fact you and is a legitimate transaction.  You will quickly receive a second text message prompting you to attempt the transaction again.

§  If your response is “NO”, that means you did not authorize this transaction and you will be prompted to contact an 800 number and a restriction will be placed on your card for your protection.

§  If you don’t respond to a text message within 15 minutes, then a voice call will be attempted at all the listed numbers on file.

This program will help protect your checking account funds from fraud while at the same time allowing you to quickly approve a transaction that has been flagged as possible fraud.

from Bank-A-Count, the website will direct you to contact your local branch for assistance.

merchant type, establish transaction amount limits, schedule alerts for certain transaction types.
